Situated in the traditional old part of Sliema, Doris Suites, is a family-run, boutique set of Apartment Suites, which is a dream that has finally come to life.
Doris Suites is a new concept within a cultural gem of a town. In years gone by, Sliema was considered as the posh town of the up and coming well-heeled gentry. The area itself dates back to the early days of Sliema which many say was reminiscent of many laid-back British coastal towns like Brighton, Southend and Eastbourne with its very own pier known as the Chalet and a never-ending costal walk promenade that runs for miles.
Today, after investing much passion and dedication we have turned our site into one of Sliema’s finest Apartment Suites. A true tribute to the roots of tradition merged with the best of modernity.
The Concept
We named our suites ‘Doris’ after the beloved personality of the owners’ mother who was renowned for her endearing generosity. In Greek mythology Doris was a sea nymph, one of the many children of Oceanus and Tethys. Just like in modern Greece the name Doris implies a Gift from the Ocean where the close proximity of Doris Suites to the sea continues this bountiful tradition. A tradition which has even inspired our floral concept as epitomised by a floral bouquet with the words ‘Giving Generously’ which is what we strive to do.
